Import Operations Supervisor – Suffolk – VR/21752
Our client a leading logistics provider across the UK and Europe is looking for an Import Operations Supervisor for their Suffolk office.
This supervisory position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career into management later on.
Responsibilities of the Import Operations Supervisor:
- Oversee the day to day operations, including but not exclusively:
- Enter new bookings
- Confirming haulage prices
- Claiming UCNs for Customs
- Completing Customs Entries
- Sending Clearance instructions
- Port Health Clearances
- Send out booking reports to customers for approval of shipments
- Raising notice of arrivals
- Arranging deliveries
- Raising invoices/passing purchase invoices
- Data entering on spreadsheets
- Managing a team of 6-8 operations clerks
The successful Import Operations Supervisor will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Import Operations and also strong customs clearance experience.
