Wolters Kluwer Transport Services integrates solutions: delivers increased value to transport professionals

Wolters Kluwer Transport Services (WKTS) further integrates its solutions delivering increased value to all transport professionals: Shippers, Carriers and Logistics Providers

See 360° integrated WKTS solutions at SITL 2014 (booth N83): Teleroute integrated into TAS-tms, FreightCentral integrated with both Transwide and Teleroute, mobile application ready and new business intelligence solutions

Brussels, Belgium, 25 March 2014 – Wolters Kluwer Transport Services is again exhibiting at SITL, the international Transport and Logistics trade fair, taking place in Paris from April 1-4, on booth N83. The provider of ‘on demand’ transport management software and services (TMSS) will announce news about its TAS-tms, Teleroute, Transwide interconnected brands and showcase the new FreightCentral dashboard.

TAS-tms expanding in France

TAS-tms, the leading modular Transport Management System (TMS) software for carriers in BeNeLux increased its market share both there and in France, where it entered the market in 2013. French transporters can now benefit from 30 years’ experience of this intuitive software to better manage administration and planning – allowing them to focus on what really matters: growing their business.

TAS-tms is now completely connected to the Transwide platform ensuring that TAS-tms customers can easily receive orders from Transwide shippers into their main operating tool and vice versa. In addition, TAS-tms is fully connected to the Teleroute freight exchange so users can easily post a freight or vehicle offer there to optimise their transport capacity.

More customers for Teleroute

Teleroute saw positive results in increased efficiency and customer satisfaction: 99% of customers in France have migrated to the new commercial price offer launched last year. Strengthened by many large international transport companies renewing their partnership (exclusivity with Norbert Dentressangle, Malherbe and Olano; priority with DB Schenker-Joyau, comprehensive agreement with Geodis and Heppner), the Teleroute freight exchange saw a 62% increase in the number of freight and vehicle offers posted, which are visible to many transporters – meaning even greater efficiency for Teleroute users to run and grow their business.

Launch of a new Business Intelligence solution

In a world premiere, the Transwide TMS platform will use SITL to introduce twFlometrics, a brand-new suite of business intelligence tools that allow shippers, carriers and other partners in a logistics community to easily and rapidly obtain unbiased key performance metrics and reports from the transactional data generated by the Transwide TMS –helping them to quickly assess and optimise their transport processes and performance.

Improved version of FreightCentral for small transport companies

The WKTS team will take the opportunity at SITL to give demonstrations of the FreightCentral dashboard, the new on-demand transport order management solution with integrated freight exchange functionality, which was specifically designed for small and medium size transport companies. This mobility solution helps them to follow transport execution proactively –giving them more time to focus on their business and on new customers.
Furthermore, the new FreightCentral dashboard is also integrated with the Transwide platform so that FreightCentral customers can get direct orders from Transwide shippers.

360° solution integration

“What we want to show at this SITL, is that Wolters Kluwer Transport Services offers plenty of interconnected solutions that answer the needs of the whole transport community: from carriers to freight forwarders, and from shippers to logistics providers. Whatever their size, we have at least one software solution that will help them to be more competitive. And as our solutions are well connected to one another – we really worked on a 360° solution integration – they can really benefit from a high return on investment,” stated Fabrice Maquignon, Managing Director of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services.
