Revolution Beauty awards DHL Supply Chain new five-year B2C contract

DHL Supply Chain has been appointed by Revolution Beauty, the fast-growing beauty brand, in a new five-year contract starting in September 2022.

The appointment will see DHL scale up its existing robotics and automated solutions to manage the ecommerce fulfilment of UK and international orders for Revolution Beauty. An innovative technology solution using Six Rivers Systems’ pick assisted robotics means that DHL is able to support the business’ global growth and enhance the consumer experience with improved lead times globally.

The new solution will also help support both Revolution Beauty and DHL’s sustainability goals by streamlining packaging and void fill requirements.

Jon Yates, Global Operations Director, Revolution Beauty said: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with DHL Supply Chain for our ecommerce fulfilment. DHL’s world class reputation in supply chain excellence is a perfect fit for our rapid growth. The automated solution, along with the DHL team themselves, were key factors in our decision making for our next ecommerce fulfilment contract, as we continue to strive to exceed our customers’ expectations”.

Tia Wallace, Ecommerce Development Director, DHL Supply Chain UK&I added: “Revolution Beauty is an exciting beauty brand in the UK, with an impressive track record of growth over the past few years. We’re excited to be joining forces to support the company’s next phase of its global growth strategy and help achieve its long-term goals.

“We are confident that we have the tools and capabilities to not only enhance Revolution Beauty’s operations but also improve sustainability alongside the overall experience for its customers.”

Revolution Beauty has recently reported a significant uplift in full-year sales and profits. The business recorded a 42% surge in revenue year on year to £194m, driven by record sales in its fourth quarter. Total earnings are also up 73% from last year, at £22m.
