As Amazon continues to raise the supply chain performance bar across industries, Infor GT Nexus Commerce Network partnered with YouGov to see where consumer expectations lie.
A broad sample of more than 5,000 individuals across the US, France, Germany, and the UK were asked about their expectations and 78% of the respondents told us they expect to receive some level of supply chain visibility when waiting for a purchase to be delivered or available, or they will switch brands.
This is not just a retail issue. Respondents indicated they would switch to a different brand across multiple product categories including household goods, electronics, and furniture. Supply chain innovation and transformation is evolving from an operational necessity to a brand imperative.
