Bid Manager – Enfield (England)

We are currently looking for an experienced Bid Manager for our client based in North London, who specialises in office design and relocation.

Reporting to the Head of Sales UK, you will focus on bid submissions and presentations that are prepared for both internal and external use, for both new and existing clients. 

As Bid Manager you will have full responsibility for ensuring all pre-qualification documents, tender responses, RFP’s, presentations and company information is developed, produced and submitted in an informative and professional manner.  You will be designing and developing tender responses for all key business opportunities. 

Duties include: 

Working with both New Business and Account Management Teams within the business unit to research, design, manage and tender submissions for both new and existing clients.  
Developing, writing and creating engaging proposals for consideration in relation to identified client projects.  
Working with colleagues across a broad spectrum of internal divisions to collate client information requests.  
Owning content planning and delivery.  
Reporting on the performance of all documents submitted including Pre-Qualification Documents, RFP’s, Onboarding Documents, Tenders and General Pricing.  
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues.
Developing relationships with existing clients.

Skills and Experience Required from the Bid Manager:

Experience in bid preparation and submission
Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
Competency in using MS Office
Working in a fast-paced environment
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
Good interpersonal skills
Good commercial awareness and critical thinker 

This is the perfect role if you want the opportunity to contribute to a central role within the sales process for both extending existing client relationships and engaging new client opportunities. 

We are keen to speak to people who have strong skills of this nature, including excellent written and verbal communication.  Candidates must be able to meet strict deadlines, working both independently and as part of a team.

The successful Bid Manager will be offered up to £45k, in line with experience, plus a benefits package including health plan, life assurance, Perkbox and 2 x volunteer days.
