Our client based in Tilbury, are a European Road Freight Specialist, and they are currently looking for an experienced Customs Administrator to deal with general day to day administration, such as data entry, month end filings and reports, closing job files and transferring documents onto internal document management system. In return, you’ll receive a salary of up to £21K DOE.
The successful Customs Administrator will have good knowledge/experience of Customs, Road Freight and import/export documentation as well as excellent oral and written communication skills/customer service skills as you will communicating with customers directly via email and telephone.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a passion for customer service and relevant experience in a similar role.
Customs Administrator Duties:
Processing and creation of consular documents, such as Certificate of Origin, ATR, EUR1, and so forth
Receiving, handling and checking of customer order boards to determine origin of goods against data held
Handling of bookings and customs clearance data with courier
Road freight transport pricing and booking
Customs Administrator Experience:
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
