We are currently seeking a Customs Coordinator for our client based in Slough, who specialise in Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions.
Your role as the Customs Coordinator will be to help co-ordinate Import and Export activities for the resident site.
You will be assisting with all areas of customs, raising essential paperwork regarding all movements of Dangerous Goods, and ensuring all goods are cleared in a timely manner.
Other duties:
Check invoices for both import and export brokerage
Deal with high volumes of data entry on spreadsheets
Assist with any work regarding ETSF
The successful Customs Coordinator will have at least 2 years’ experience of Imports / Exports and Customs Compliance & regulations.
You will also require some knowledge of customs requirements and formalities, predominantly focussing on worldwide Imports.
Having excellent communication skills is a good attribute for this role as you will be required to liaise with, customers, suppliers, agents and customs authorities to deal with any questions or concerns.
Requirements of the Customs Coordinator:
Road transport, Logistics or haulage experience
Able to use Microsoft packages – especially Excel
HMRC amendment and reclaim experience
Must have customs entries knowledge
System – CDS
