EU Import / Export Operator – Essex – VR/21898
My client, providers of logistics and transport solutions are looking for Import / Export Operators with knowledge of European Import and Export operations; FTL and Groupage and Arranging EU Backloads.
My client is looking for self-motivated individuals with a passion for logistics as this client has grown on their relationships with customers and my client is constantly investing within the business.
Main Objectives of the Import / Export Operator are:
- Maintain communication and control through all phases of the journey
- Maximise gross profit on all work using strong negotiation skills to achieve expected targets
- Maintain long term customer relationships alongside developing new ones
- Dealing with all relevant documentation and customs entries
- Develop the clients backload services from the EU focusing on specific markets
Skills and experience required of the successful candidate are:
- Excellent time management skills
- Previous work in a similar role with specific knowledge of container and trailer operations
- Proven stable work history is essential
- Excellent customer service skills
