Our client, a UK Freight Forwarding company offering our services worldwide, is currently looking for a full-time permanent Export Air Freight Administrator for their Heathrow office. The successful Export Air Freight Administrator will receive a salary up to £40k depending on experience.
Our client would like the candidate to be very proactive and in return you will be trained and given the opportunity to learn all aspects of air freight logistics.
We are looking to speak to candidates who have experience of Export Air Freight (with at least 1-2 years).
Duties of the Export Air Freight Administrator:
Rating and Billing Air Export Shipments
Processing Corrections
Managing Duty and VAT ledger
Managing and answering emails
Liaising with internal and external customers
Filing
Passing Invoices
Managing customer contracts
Other duties as and when required
Requirements for the Export Air Freight Administrator:
Good knowledge in Export Air Freight A-Z
Preferably some knowledge in Import Air Freight
Full customs entry
Experience in quotations and billing
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate
Good, keen learning attitude
Be able to work as part of a team
Telephone sales/customer relations
Knowledge of working with hazardous goods would be advantageous
