Our client based in Tilbury are a European Road Freight Specialist, and they are currently seeking a skilled Export European Road Freight Clerk, to maintain long term customer relationships alongside developing new ones, and to ensure all documentation is correct. In return, you’ll receive a salary of up to £30K DOE.
The successful Export European Road Freight Clerk will have good knowledge/experience in Road Freight and export documentation, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills and customer service skills, as you will be working closely with customers and 3rd parties to ensure smooth operations deadlines.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a passion for customer service, relevant experience in road freight (export) and a European language would be an advantage but not essential.
Export European Road Freight Clerk Duties:
Maximise gross profit on all work using strong negotiation skills to achieve expected targets
Maintain communication and control through all phases of the journey
Keep customers informed of their shipments progress
Tracking Shipments
Export European Road Freight Clerk Experience:
Experience of exports and arranging EU road freight shipments
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Commercial awareness
