A new opportunity has arisen for a Home Removals & Storage Manager to join our client, a domestic moving company based in Suffolk.
The role of the Home Removals & Storage Manager is to manage and oversee the daily duties of up to 20 removal drivers and porters.
You will be responsible for operation management such as sales, purchasing, staff development, recruitment, vehicle maintenance, and health & safety.
Main duties & responsibilities of the role:
Allocate the appropriate resources to jobs, ensuring you stay within the estimated costs, whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service is always being provided.
Carry out house visits, surveys and estimates.
Ensure all estimates are created correctly using the Moveman software.
Liaise with customer on a day-to-day basis, dealing with any issues or inquires that may arise.
Ensure the sales team are kept motivated, and always hitting targets and providing the best possible services.
The successful Home Removals & Storage Manager will have strong experience working within the Removals industry, preferably in a managerial or operational role, and ideally, any specialist removal qualifications, which would be an advantage.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have excellent IT skills – good Microsoft Office knowledge of Moveman estimating software.
Having strong leadership and communication skills are key attributes for this role.
