Import Customs Clerk – Liverpool – VR/22209
Our client, leaders in supply chain solution management and logistics, is looking for an Import Customs Clerk to join their global logistics forwarding team based in Liverpool.
Duties of the Import Customs Clerk:
- Dealing with multi modal customs operations from start to finish
- Prepare documentation for import customs clearance
- Process and monitor import clearances
- Liaising with customers and consignees
- Liaise with Customs Authorises and Port Health
- Follow-up with customers and consignees
Skills & Requirements of the Import Customs Clerk:
- Import customs clearance experience
- Good knowledge of the various customs procedures
- Good knowledge of Destin8, CNS and MultiFreight
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel and databases
- Strong communications and organisational skills
- Strong work ethics with focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player and self-driven with a positive attitude
In return, the successful Import Customs Clerk will receive a salary in the region of £20-30k depending on experience.
