Our client, an established Logistics and Supply Chain company, is currently seeking an Import / Export Clerk to join their team in Essex.
You role as the Import / Export Clerk will be to deal / communicate with core clients, as well as to develop constructive relationships with key customers and key suppliers.
Other duties of an Import / Export Clerk:
Control all Import and Export activities on a start to finish basis
Ensure all data/changes and bookings are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival / departure
Keep customers fully informed of anything, which may cause delay to a shipment
The successful Import / Export Clerk will have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Having 1-2 years of Logistics or Import / Export experience is an advantage.
