Our client, who specialise in transport and logistics, are currently seeking an Import Operations Coordinator for their team based in Felixstowe.
As the Import Operations Coordinator, you will be coordinating all Import clearances, deliveries and releases, and ensuring all costings are captured correctly.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be liaising with clients, providing them with first class customer service via emails or phone. You will also be resolving any problems customers come across.
Other duties of the Import Operations Coordinator:
Ensure customers are kept up to date with relevant information
Communicating with Suppliers for updates
Liaising with Shipping lines, hauliers etc on a daily basis
Dealing with data entry and online filing
Managing all arrivals for customers
Processing invoices
Answer and Direct phone Calls
The successful Import Operations Coordinator will have start to finish knowledge of import processes, experience dealing with customs clearances, and knowledge of Destin8, Cargowise, CNS and CDS.
