Our client is a provider of worldwide Shipping solutions, and they are currently looking for an Inside Sales Clerk to join their team in Essex.
The Inside Sales Clerk will be responsible for the day-to-day duties of the operations, dealing with the pricing of Import and Export LCL quotes.
You will also be assisting the Field Sales with any direct leads, going on possible client visits to help build better relationships.
Other key duties of the Inside Sales Clerk:
Deal with core markets such as the USA, Far East, Middle East, Asia, Oceania, South Africa and Indian Sub
Identify potential business by calling new accounts.
Sell Import and Export services.
Liaise with clients, agents, vendors and origin offices on a daily basis, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Answer incoming calls from clients and vendors on a daily basis, and all calls sent for voicemail are returned.
Send secured bookings to the Customer Services team with all relevant information.
Follow up for quotes.
Log all calls, sales leads and any other relevant material in the company CRM system.
The successful Inside Sales Clerk will have strong sales experience, and a minimum of 1 years’ deep sea experience.
Having experience working in the Freight Forwarding industry is essential.
Experience required:
Knowledge of global markets.
Experience selling both LCL and FCL products.
