Internal Sales Executive – Worcestershire (England)

Due to continued expansion, our client, a provider of Freight Forwarding services, is currently looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their vibrant Sales team in Redditch; to build and develop existing client relationships, maximise business potential and calculate Air, Road and Sea freight quotations.

In order to be successful for this role, you must have excellent customer service or sales experience, along with the ability to negotiate with clients and/or suppliers. Export sales experience would be ideal, but training will be provided.

Duties of the Internal Sales Executive:

Existing client Account Management.
Rejuvenation of existing or dormant client accounts.
Generating and calculating Freight quotations, ensuring that the quotes are completed promptly and followed up to maximise conversion.
Managing sales quotations through to successful job results.
Drafting and sending appropriate sales correspondence.
Developing long lasting relationships with existing clients.

Experience required for an Internal Sales Executive:

Export sales experience (ideal but not essential as training is provided).
Proven customer service or sales experience.
Proven success of calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions.
Experience of negotiating with clients and or suppliers.
Key account management experience with proven success of developing relationships.
Good administrative, numerical and IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm.
