Our client a leading international freight forwarder is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team based in Dover.
As the Logistics Coordinator, it will be your role to manage logistics solutions throughout Europe and globally. You will monitor the progress of transport, ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met.
Duties continued:
Ensure clients are kept up to date on the progress of transport
Offer different transport solutions to clients
Agree on transport costs with international carriers, ensuring all requirements of the client are met
Build and develops excellent relationships with international clients
Monitor the transport management system and make sure it is constantly updated
Answer incoming telephone calls, dealing with all enquires quickly
We are keen to hear from candidates who ideally have some knowledge of transport systems, good commercial understanding and experience working in a busy Logistics environment, but this is not necessary.
