The Opportunity for the Multimodal Freight Forwarder Operator:
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in coordinating multimodal operations across road, sea, air, and courier movements, ensuring seamless delivery for a diverse and prestigious client base. You will have the autonomy to manage shipments end-to-end, supported by a leadership team that values initiative, decision-making, and results.
Key Responsibilities for the Multimodal Freight Forwarder Operator:
Arrange and manage road import and export shipments
Coordinate sea exports and cross-trade shipments
Handle courier operations and liaise with global agents
Prepare and manage all export/import documentation including Bills of Lading, VGM, ISF, and consular requirements
Collaborate with internal teams for customs, warehousing, and transport
Maintain system records and issue accurate invoices
Ensure compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction at every stage
What You Bring:
Experience in multi-modal freight forwarding
Proven knowledge of import/export documentation and procedures
Excellent planning, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Confident communication and the ability to build strong client and partner relationships
Knowledge of cross-trade operations is an advantage
