Our client is a freight and logistics company, and they are currently looking for an Operations Coordinator, to join their team in Folkestone. Salary offered for the successful Operations Coordinator is £18-23k depending on experience.
For this Operations Coordinator role, we are looking to speak to candidates who have excellent communication and attention to detail skills. You must have proven success of building customer and supplier relationships, strong negotiation skills, numeracy skills with experience of calculating freight quotations and good IT skills, in particular with Microsoft Office programs.
Responsibilities of the Operations Coordinator:
Tracking collections and deliveries
Updating the internal systems
Advising account managers and customers of delays
Order creation
Liaising with suppliers
Negotiating some rates
Further development and training may be given
