Relocation Consultant – 13 Month Contract – Kent (England)

Our client, an International Relocation company, is looking for an experienced Relocation Consultant to join their team in Kent. This will be a 13 month contract servicing the Domestic Relocation sector which includes high profile clientele.

Your main objective will be to facilitate the overall relocation process for your Corporate Clients and their employees. Working closely with your clients, you will have the ability to multi-task, handle and solve difficulties, proactively maintaining client focus at all times.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous relocation experience and are looking for their next step in corporate relocation.

This role will be part working in the office and part from home and you can expect to earn a salary of between 28-40K to start

Responsibilities of the Relocation Consultant:

Serving as main point of coordination between service partners and the relocating assignee
Providing a positive and enjoyable international relocation experience for the relocating employees
Where applicable, seek opportunities to assist clients in the analysis of purchase versus rent
Responsible for the timely and accurate input of related data and the management of all opportunities through completion.
Liaising with vendors regarding the international relocation assistance including; household goods movers, serviced accommodation providers, destination services agents, immigration law firms, language trainers etc.
Review and evaluate exception requests and challenging situations, and provide solutions to clients
Understand and manage costs and expenses related to relocation deliverables, maximizing the benefits while minimizing expenses and costs.
Responsible for the accurate and timely documenting of conversations, exceptions, and correspondence
Understand different relocation services, able to evaluate and determine the ‘best’ services for the customer and the situations.

Skills Required from Relocation Consultant:

Knowledge of the international relocation process
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills
Keeps calm under pressure and performs well under strict deadlines
Strong attention to detail
A passion for customer and client services with a can do attitude

With a thorough understanding of the relocation process and procedures, you will have experience in a similar role, any experience or knowledge of Immigration would be a plus.
