Removals HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Hampshire
Hours & Salary: 40 Hours p/w at £15.35p/h (contracted) + overtime
Start: ASAP
We’re currently looking to appoint an experienced Removals HGV Class 2 Driver, on behalf of our established Removals & Storage client, based in Hampshire.
What you’ll do:
A typical day will involve packing, wrapping and moving customers furniture and personal effects. Having a Category C driving licence and physical strength is vital for this role.
Responsibilities include:
Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for local and regional removals
Pack, load and unload furniture and household items with care, including heavy lifting when necessary
Communicate clearly with customers
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly
Adhere strictly to traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
Assist with warehouse and yard duties as needed
What you need:
Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within removals or logistics sectors
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving environments with knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently under pressure
