Our client a specialist Fine Art Removals Company based in Oxfordshire are seeking a Removals HGV Driver.
As the Removals HGV Driver, you will carry out general driving duties, ensure vehicle loads are safe and undamaged with the appropriate restraints, and efficiently handle paperwork such bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photos.
The successful Removals HGV Driver will have relevant driving experience, ideally within the Removals or Logistics industry, along with a clean driving licence and excellent communication skills.
Removals HGV Driver Duties:
Moving and handling – physical lifting/ handling, loading & unloading
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using all equipment safely as specified in operating procedures and Safe Systems of Work
Reporting of any vehicle defects / damage or H&S issues to management
Comply with any other reasonable requests from Management
Experience required for a Removals HGV Driver:
Any removals experience
Candidate must be flexible with working hours
Experience of loading / unloading and delivering goods to customer premises
Experience of multi-drop deliveries
Good understanding of Drivers Hours & WTD regulations
Reasonable level of fitness to work with loads
