Our client, a specialist Removals Company based in Hampshire, are currently looking to recruit a Removals Trainee Manager, to generally assist the branch manager (deputising for him in his absence) in ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the branch in addition to supervising special removals when requested and any other duties as may be responsibly requested by Branch Manager. In return, you will receive a salary of up to 22K DOE, working hours are 8-5:30, with 1 hour lunch break.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be booking removals and part loads as required, planning daily routine, investigating & reporting on claims and complaints along with compiling quotations using Company costing data and advising the company on the selection of appropriate vehicles and crew for each removal as required. Other daily duties will include briefing the removals crews as required and inspecting customers’ premises and assess quantities for removal.
The successful Removals Trainee Manager will have good telephone manner as well as excellent customer service / communication skills as you will be dealing with customer enquiries, canvasing potential customers as well as liaising with clerical support staff offering assistance when requested and advising customers on insurance matters.
Main duties of the Removals Trainee Manager:
Follow up quotations
Plan individual removals
Submit estimates to customers
Market and sell Company’s services effectively
Achieve objectives set out by the Branch Manager
Contribute to the promotion and maintenance of good labour and customer relations
Ensure compliance of oneself with procedures pertinent to ISO9002
Experience Required for the Removals Trainee Manager:
Self-motivated
Team player
Presentable and polite
Removals background would be advantageous
