Our client is a specialist in Freight Forwarding, Transportation and Logistics Solutions, and they are currently looking for a Sea Freight Export Coordinator for their team in Manchester, to prepare export documents , as well as managing reports and providing clients with regular updates on costs, opportunities and contract performance. Hours are 8.30am – 5.30pm. In return, you will receive a salary of up to 30k.
The successful Sea Freight Export Coordinator will have excellent customer service and communication skills as you will be liaising with other offices in the UK, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements and also with overseas agents, sales and/or account management teams to ensure the smooth on-boarding of new customers
Duties of the Sea Freight Export Coordinator:
Focus on improving customer satisfaction by delivering high quality services
Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, suppliers and other offices, as required by operational SOPs
Handling customer queries, Quotations pricing, up-selling, and prompt follow up
Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment.
Requirements for the Sea Freight Export Coordinator role:
Previous experience within Sea Freight is essential or in a similar role – preferable (experience in freight at least 1 year)
Previous experience working within export environment is preferable
Conversant in IT skills e.g., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM systems.
Demonstrate working administrative background
Must have an analytical skill, with a high level of attention to detail
