Our client, a leader in supply chain solution management and logistics, and they are currently looking for a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their team in Felixstowe. Full training will be given; you just need to be passionate about learning and have an interest in logistics. You’ll gain valuable experience and transferable skills within the freight forwarding industry, which is currently in very high demand.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, as you will be liaising with clients, shipping lines, 3rd parties and other forwarders. Excellent admin and organisational skills, along with computer literacy and attention to detail are also great attributes.

Trainee Freight Forwarder duties include:
Ensuring all shipping documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Building strong working relationships with clients / shipping lines and agents
Dealing with post shipment enquires with overseas offices and agents
