Our client leading providers of logistics and transport solutions are looking for a Transport Operations Assistant to join their team in Dartford.
As the Transport Operations Assistant, you will be enhancing the day-to-day customer relationships, and assisting the operations with vehicle delays, breakdowns ensuring key stakeholders are kept up to date.
The successful Transport Operations Assistant will need good admin and data inputting knowledge. Having industry experience would be an advantage but not necessary, as full training will be provided.
We are keen to speak with proactive and self-motivated candidates who have the ability to communicate effectively with all parties.
Transport Operations Assistant Duties:
Support the Operation by completing daily, weekly and periodic tasks
Receive, handle and respond to all customer enquiries
Ensuring all final loads of the day are tracked in
Liaise with Warehouse making sure all overnight requirements are met
Ensure all customers are updated correctly
General administration within the Transport Management System
Assisting with admin supporting the Compliance/Administration Manager
