**Job Title:** Senior Multi Model Import/Export Assistants
**Location:** Manchester
**Role Purpose:**
Join our clients dynamic Freight Management team to oversee key customer freight shipments, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
**Key Responsibilities for the Senior Multi Model Import/Export Assistants :**
– Coordinate the export and import of diverse cargo using various transport modes.
– Communicate with customers to secure shipment authorizations.
– Track and manage cargo movements from origin to destination.
– Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and documentation requirements.
– Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
– Provide customers with regular updates on shipment status.
– Manage customs processes for exporting shipments.
– Resolve customer service issues promptly.
– Obtain rates and prepare quotations as requested.
– Maintain personal profit and loss accounts weekly.
– Prepare invoicing documents.
– Identify and explore new business opportunities with customers.
– Undertake additional duties as required by the company.

**Knowledge and Experience required for Senior Multi Model Import/Export Assistants :**
– Essential experience in international shipping processes and freight forwarding.
– Experience with Cargowise is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
– Knowledge of export and import operations.
– Proficient in Word, Excel, and email.
– Essential administrative experience.
– Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
– Experience in fast-paced environments is a plus.
