Our client offers a wide range of freight, transportation and storage services, and they are currently looking for a Freight Admin Assistant to join team based in Folkestone.
As the Freight Admin Assistant, you will be providing admin and operational support. On a day-to-day basis, you will be assisting with the preparation and completion of (work) files with all associated documents required for correct, complete and efficient processing of the files.
The successful candidate will have previous Freight Admin experience or previous experience within Freight Forwarding and Operations.
We are keen to speak with applicants who have a good telephone manner along with excellent IT skills (able to use Microsoft Word & Excel).
Duties of the Freight Admin Assistant:
Bookkeeping data input
Cross check reports
Find / chase missing data
General office administrative roles
Customer service
Skills and experience required for the Freight Admin Assistant:
Excellent time management – Handling multiple urgent tasks whilst having the ability to constantly prioritise your incoming workload
Flexible working approach – Being able to move from one task to another under sometime tight deadlines
IT Literate – Excel and Word are essential
