Our client, an independent family run freight forwarding company specializing in multi-modal operations and e-fulfillment, are looking for a Sea Freight Export Clerk to join their team in Kent, to take bookings and prepare documentation, i.e. Bills of Lading. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary.
We are keen to speak with candidates who preferably have Sea Freight Export experience, good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and commercial awareness.
Duties of the Sea Freight Export Clerk:
Communication with clients, shipping lines and overseas offices/agents
Handling Sea Freight consignments for Exports
High volumes of data entry on in-house IT systems
Arranging FCL/LCL loading plans/manifests/bookings & customs processes
Raising & passing invoices
Dealing with warehouse operatives
