For much of Martin’s career, he has been a customer facing Managing Director with particular experience of the DIY and builder’s merchant sectors.
Beginning his career at management consultants McKinsey and Co in London in 1989, Martin then joined Gower Furniture where he became the company’s Managing Director in 2000. Martin then spent five years at Danesmoor Group, a kitchen components distributor and agent, as Group Managing Director.
Before setting up Zupplychain, Martin also worked as a consultant for a major builder’s merchant, designing a trade/retail hybrid business model.
