Our client, a leading provider of International sea and air freight transport and logistics services, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Ocean / Seafreight Operator, to join their team at their Heathrow branch.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team.
On a day-to-day basis you’ll predominantly be dealing with sea-freight movements as well as some multi-modal operations, liaising with customers and customs authorities, coordinating customs clearance operations from start to finish.
For the position of Senior Ocean / Seafreight Operator you will need:
Demonstrated proficiency with Sea Freight operations spanning at least 3 years.
Competence in completing customs entries and CDS.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for operational tasks.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload independently.
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Possess commercial acumen and awareness.
As a Senior Ocean / Seafreight Operators have good operational know-how of customs clearance procedures, SPS and Port Health experience as well as the ability to support your team. You’ll be organised by nature and will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphere. Being computer literate, having excellent attention to detail skills, as well as being good with numbers and a confident communicator are imperative attributes.
In return, the successful Senior Ocean / Seafreight Operator will receive a salary in the region of £30k, depending on experience.
