NHS Supply Chain is delighted to announce Supply Chain Coordination Limited (SCCL), the management function of NHS Supply Chain, and Heather Tierney-Moore, Chair of SCCL, have appointed Sandra MacQuillan as non-executive director, bringing the expanded SCCL Board to its full complement.
Sandra joins the board on 6 April for a three-year term and brings with her more than 30 years of extensive international supply chain leadership experience.
Sandra’s previous role was executive vice president and chief supply chain officer at Mondelez International, a multinational food and beverage company operating in 150 countries. Prior to this she was senior vice president and chief supply chain officer at Kimberley-Clark Corporation, with responsibility globally for procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, safety and sustainability.
Sandra also served as global vice president, supply chain for Global Petcare, a $15 billion business of Mars, Incorporated and was responsible for procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics. During her tenure at Mars, she also served in a variety of operations and supply chain roles.
She has been ranked number one global supply chain leader last October by Alcott Global and was also named number one global woman in supply chain leadership in 2020.
Sandra has lived and worked in the UK, Czech Republic, Russia, Middle East, Belgium and most recently in the U.S.
She is on the executive advisory board of Zero100 which focuses on developing and challenging Industry to Zero emissions and 100 percent digital. She also sits on the executive advisory board for BOOM! an organisation focused on supporting women in supply chain roles around the world.
Sandra is also currently non-executive director of TRIMBLE Inc. a technology company based in Silicon Valley and Board of Trustee member for Atlanta International School, Atlanta, GA, USA.
