Are you an adept Credit Controller with a proven track record in managing finances and ensuring optimal cash flow? Our prestigious client, a renowned International removals company, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their dynamic team at their Hertfordshire branch. This role plays a pivotal part in the financial stability and growth of the business.
As the Accounts Receivable Credit Controller, you will be responsible for a range of essential tasks, including:
Invoice Management: Proficiently producing and managing invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Client Statement Management: Skilfully handling client statements to maintain transparency and accountability.
Cash Receipt Allocation: Precisely allocating cash receipts to maintain a healthy cash flow.
Debt Recovery: Effectively chasing overdue accounts through professional communication via telephone and email, catering to both UK and Overseas clients, dealing with multi-currencies.
Dispute Resolution: Collaboratively investigating and resolving client disputes in coordination with your team members.
Credit Note Production: Accurately producing credit notes when necessary for rebates.
VAT Receipts: Providing creditors with proper VAT receipts, ensuring compliance.
The ideal candidate for the role of Accounts Receivable Credit Controller should possess:
Extensive Collection Experience: Demonstrated success in collecting outstanding debts from both private and business customers.
Legal Acumen: A solid understanding of legal requirements related to debt collections.
Financial Expertise: Previous experience in sales ledger/accounts receivable is essential for this position.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Numeracy and Articulation: Proficiency in numerical analysis and articulate in your professional interactions.
