Our client is a fast growing logistics company specialising in freight distribution and warehousing for exclusive luxury brands in Tilbury, Essex. A new position has opened up in their Customer Service department and they are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join them.
The successful Admin Assistant w ill have advanced Excel skills.
Admin Assistant Duties:
Provide general administrative assistance to the customer service department.
Dealing with incoming customer queries via telephone and email
Using external portals
Investigating any issues from customers and internally
Creating collections on system and reporting any issues
Inputting data and creating orders
Producing reports depending on the businesses need’s
Raising Purchase Orders
Accurate processing of orders through our warehouse management system
Maintain and monitor stock levels
Making sure all invoices are summited to accounts with the correct data and on time
Producing Pre-invoices for customers
Admin Assistant Skills/Experience:
Strong administration and data entry skills
A strong knowledge of excel is a must – Pivot tables etc
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Be Computer Literate, able to use Microsoft Office Suite and able learn news systems
Knowledge of the logistics industry is desirable
Salary: Up to £26k per year
