We are currently seeking an Air & Ocean Commercial and General Manager for our client based in Essex, who specialise in Freight Forwarding through multimodal services.
The role of the Air & Ocean Commercial and General Manager is to oversee the operational needs of the company, and ensuring all general duties are carried out correctly.
You will be identifying and developing new customers, suppliers, partners and business lanes within the Air and Ocean services.
Air & Ocean Commercial and General Manager key responsibilities:
Ensuring clients’ needs are always met.
Make sure jobs are created correctly in the company Freight Management System
Work alongside the Directors to help create budgets – both personal and departmental.
Discuss any sales or cost queries with the accounts department.
Oversee invoicing and ensuring quotations are continuously monitored.
The successful Air & Ocean Commercial and General Manager will have strong commercial and operational knowledge of Air and Ocean Freight.
We are looking for candidates who have a network for supplier contacts within the Air and Ocean industry.
