We are currently working with a family run business who specialise in international removals. They are seeking an Assistance Finance Manager for their team based in Surrey.
The role of the Assistant Finance Manager is to work alongside an accounting team and the Finance Manager, helping deal with the day-to-day financial operations such as payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Main duties of the Assistant Finance Manager:
Deal with overseas and supplier payments.
Liaise with the Finance Manager, reporting the status of accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare and submit regular industry-based reports.
Support the Finance Manager with cash flow management.
Prepare financial reports, statements and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Ensure the internal CRM, accounting database and spreadsheets are all kept up to date.
Identify and deal with any discrepancies.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a senior financial position.
Skills and experience required of the Assistant Finance Manager:
Strong understanding of financial management obligation, especially statutory obligations and requirement.
some experience using SAP would be ideal.
Good knowledge/experience using Excel.
