Our client are a domiciliary care and support provider, and they are currently looking for an experience Finance Assistant to join their busy team in Sible Hedingham.
Finance Assistant Duties:
Manage the finance email inbox and provide prompt assistance
Setting up new suppliers/customers on our system and ensuring all information is complete and accurate, making sure processes are followed
Check and code supplier invoices with accuracy for input onto our accounting system
Supplier statement reconciliation for month end payment runs
Monthly business credit card analysis for allocation
Deal with both supplier and client telephone calls to resolve any queries
Assisting with monthly sales invoice production and allocation of receipts
Other Ad hoc accounts and daily administrative duties
Be a supportive team player during holidays and busy periods
Experience and understanding of Purchase and Sales Ledgers
Very accurate with a keen eye for detail
Previous experience in a similar role within a Finance team
Ideally with experience using Xero but not essential
Happy to follow processes and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook Email, Word, Adobe PDF
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hours: 8.30 – 17.00 (Monday – Friday) with one hour lunch break 37.5 hours per week
In return, the successful Finance Assistant will be offered in the region of £22,000 to £25,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
