A new opportunity has arisen for a Move Manager to join our client, a fast-growing removals and storage company based in North London.
The role of the Move Manager is to oversee the moving service of the clients’ goods, monitoring consignments and ensuring clients are being provided with first class customer service.
You will be managing clients through the moving process, booking logistical requirements with the Operations Team and preparing accurate notes for the removal’s crews prior to each move.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Assist the Sales team with booking appointments and book third-party services required for moves.
Produce detailed moving plans and communicate them to clients and internal teams.
Ensure all goods are properly shipped in line with client expectations.
Process relevant documentation to ensure service delivery.
Ensure the inhouse database system (Moveware) is being used correctly and efficiently.
Deal with customer complaints – address any concerns or issues that arise during the move and provide timely solutions.
Provide clients with quotations and producing invoices.
To be the successful Move Manager, you will need to have experience working within a similar managerial position within the Removals industry.
Experience required for the Move Manager:
Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems efficiently.
Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
Experience using database systems such as Moveware.
Ability to work well both individually and within a team.
