A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our client, a multi award-winning Freight Forwarding and Logistics company, who are currently seeking a Multi Modal Business Development Manager to join their team in East London.
The role of the Multi Modal Business Development Manager is to identify new commercial opportunities, introduce / promote the company’s freight technology solutions, and sell supply chain solutions to prospective clients.
You will be responsible for new business pitches and the on-boarding of new clients.
You will also be required to attend networking events, exhibitions and conferences, making sure you are representing the company and helping to optimise all business development opportunities.
Other duties and responsibilities of the role:
Actively seek new sales opportunities through networking and cold calling.
Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients.
Work alongside the Marketing team to generate and nurture a pipeline of qualified sales leads.
Ensure the company is consistently meeting or exceeding the needs of customers.
Keep up with market trends and adapt to any changes within the industry.
Ensure the company CRM system is being used efficiently.
The successful Multi Modal Business Development Manager will have strong Freight Sales or Business Development experience, and background working in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who have first class customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and team members.
