Multimodal Freight Sales Executive (South West) – Gloucestershire (England)

Our Client is an International Freight Forwarding company providing international and logistical needs from 3PL to sea, road and air freight.  Due to increased global growth, they are looking to appoint a Multimodal Freight Sales Executive to be part of their UK sales team, covering the South West. 

As Multimodal Freight Sales Executive, you will be required to travel across the South West region, therefore a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required.   The role would suit a candidate based in the Bristol/Swindon/Gloucester area.

The Multimodal Freight Sales Executive must be able to demonstrate they can:

Focus and drive to achieve targets
Identify sales opportunities whilst profiling all new businesses to understand intricately how we can support with freight / customs
Represent the company in the best possible light with internal and external stakeholders
Proactively scope new business opportunities
Track and manage the CRM system, ensuring ongoing liaison with existing clients & follow up of prospective customers
Demonstrate a track record of developing and enhancing current client portfolios
Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas agents
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge
Display excellent communication skills that include the ability to influence and negotiate where required

Sales e xperience with in the freight industry and a knowledge of Import/Export logistics processes is required.  It goes without saying; to be a successful Multimodal Freight Sales Executive you will have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft packages especially Excel as well as have general PC knowledge.  This is a remote working role, therefore you must have the ability to work from home.

In return, the successful Multimodal Freight Sales Executive will receive a salary up to £40,000, £5,000 car allowance (per annum), competitive bonus structure and benefits package.
