Our client, a Warehousing, Logistics and Freight Forwarding company based in Liverpool are currently seeking an Operator Account Coordinator (Exports / Roadfreight) to join their team.
As the Operator Account Coordinator (Exports / Roadfreight), you will ensure all shipping documentation is processed correctly, action UK customs clearances, and ensure all deadlines within the department are met.
You will be working alongside the team, ensuring all transactions are dealt with smoothly with all customers.
Main duties of the Operator Account Coordinator (Exports / Roadfreight):
Arrange and process deliveries, ensuring they are in line with sailing and arrival schedules.
Oversee the stock management of metals storage.
Liaise with Freight Forwarders and Customers to ensure cargo is collected and delivered on-time.
Deal with all documents relating to stock and deliveries.
Negotiate rates with hauliers and Freight Forwarders to ensure the best prices for customers.
Deal with invoices – creating and sending off.
The successful Operator Account Coordinator (Exports / Roadfreight) will have previous experience working within an office environment, ideally within a Freight Forwarding or Distribution company, however full training will be given.
Experience required:
Experience working within the Exports and EU trailers departments, which would be ideal but is not essential.
Knowledge of the fast-paced environment of securing transit for customers.
Strong Microsoft Office skills / knowledge.
