We are currently seeking a Move Manager for our client based in Warwickshire, who specialise in Corporate International Moves.
Your role as the Move Manager will be to manage the moving service of client’s goods on behalf of the company’s’ corporate accounts and private clients. You will be responsible for organising and handling international moving services for private and corporate clients.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be interacting with shipping lines / airfreight agencies and subcontractors ensuring that goods are shipped. You will also be liaising with clients and airfreight agencies to ascertain requirements and providing first class customer service, so having excellent communication skills is a good attribute for this role.
Duties continued:
Ensure shipments are carried out in accordance with agreed terms
Produce invoices to clients and corporate accounts
Liaise with internal Accounts department to ensure payment is received within agreed terms
Process any documentation, ensuring service delivery
Liaise with insurance brokers and client in the event of a claim
The successful Move Manager will have previous industry experience, and at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role. Having experience within the Shipping, Freight or Logistics industries would also be considered.
Training and experience:
OH&S Essentials, Slips, Trips & Falls, Manual Handling and GDPR training
Ideally – Moveware software experience
DBS check – mandatory
