Our client, who specialise in storing, delivering and installing furniture, are currently seeking an EU Roadfreight Operator to join their team based in Essex.
As the EU Roadfreight Operator, you will be organising groupage shipments, full trailer and part loads, handling all European groupage services, arranging movements of Freight from starting point to final destination.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be liaising with customers, partners and suppliers, so it goes without saying, you will need excellent customer service and communications skills.
The successful EU Roadfreight Operator will have previous Road Freight experience, ideally, some Sea or Air Freight experience, which would be an advantage and will have contacts with subcontractors in order to organise loads.
You will need to be a confident communicator via over the phone, and have the ability to work well both as part of a team, and independently.
