Our client, a Freight Forwarding company, is currently seeking an Export Customs / Documentation Clerk to join their team in Felixstowe.
As the Export Customs / Documentation Clerk, you will handle EU export customs entries, all new bookings / transport/booking amendments from Customers, to ensure all rates are on files and are correct and ensuring customers are given the best possible service.
Other duties of the Export Customs / Documentation Clerk:
Send Bills of Lading instructions to carriers
Send draft Bills of Lading to clients
Print/Email and post any relevant shipping documentation/invoices to clients
Input of bookings to the company’s system
The successful Export Customs/Documentation Clerk will have EU export customs entries experience, documentation experience and working knowledge of arranging shipments from the UK.
We are keen to speak with candidates who have excellent communication skills as you will be contacting Shipping Lines and liaising with Equipment & Transport departments.
Experience required for the Export Customs / Documentation Clerk:
