Managing Director Removals/ Relocation Services – London (England)

Our client, a leading International Moving company are seeking a Managing Director to oversee their Removals and Relocations operation in London.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, sales focused individual to lead and continue to grow our clients International Moving business. The Managing Director will have strategy, operational, sales, marketing, and P&L responsibility for the London based operation.  

As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the branch in conjunction with your management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Implementation:

Responsible for the delivery of the three-year business growth plan.
Understand the market our client operates in.
Responsible for developing new business.
Focusing on what is “core” following in depth market analysis to drive sustainable and profitable growth.

Sales, digital and marketing:

Responsible for devising and implementing the business’s sales strategy and plan.
Drive year on year profitable growth and deliver sales objectives alongside the Sales team.
Responsible for driving optimal growth and improved profitability.

Customers:

Build long term customer relationships based on the delivery of quality products and service.
Grow and develop customer accounts through cross-selling strategies.

Operations:

Establishing and ensuring delivery of effective service measures and KPIs
Build a good understanding of the legal, regulatory and safety requirements of the business.

Financial Management:

Set annual budgets and deliver periodic trading updates and reporting weekly and periodically.
Provide accurate financial forecasts and identify areas of improvement.

General Management:

Develop and manage appropriate business KPIs.
Deliver accurate monthly reports to the Group .
Lead, inspire and develop the performance and potential of the team.
Entrepreneurial approach with a can do attitude.

Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail whilst retaining the ability to see the wider business picture

The successful Managing Director will have strong knowledge of the Removals and Relocations industry.
