Our client is an independent Shipping Agency, and they are currently seeking a Customs Operations Manager for their team in Dover.
As the Customs Operations Manager, you will mentoring, motivating and supporting the team, managing key accounts and will be responsible for profit & Loss.
The successful Customs Operations Manager will have a minimum of 10 years’ Customs Clearance experience, and Man management experience and excellent communications skills – both verbal & written.
The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills, a strong educational background and good IT skills.
Customs Operations Manager Duties:
Hands on Operations management
Business development – building relationships with new and existing clients
Generating & Calculating quotations
Compliance management
Identify areas of improvement to improve efficiency of the business
