Our client, a specialist in supply chain logistics and customs, is offering a great opportunity to join their team in Maldon as a Data Entry Clerk. In return, youll receive a salary of up to £21K.
On a day-to-day basis, youll be assisting with Customs warehouse removals, ensuring they are processed accordingly, within a compliant time frame and stock records are kept up to date and learning basic Customs Import formalities and procedures using CFSP (Customs Freight Simplified Procedures). You will learn to be responsible for processing client data, all required data including shipping, and following and&applying customs and excise duties and procedures as appropriate
As a Data Entry Clerk, youll be organised by nature and will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphere. Being computer literate, having excellent attention to detail skills, as well as being good with numbers and a confident communicator are imperative attributes.
Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk:
Learn how to operate duty Management Computer Systems
General office administration (e.g. filing/ record keeping)
Ongoing liaison with HMRC/ Clients/ Suppliers
Skills / Experience required for the Data Entry Clerk:
Numerate
Minimum 5 GCSEs grade C or above, including English and Mathematics
