Domiciliary Care Coordinator – Essex (England)

Our client, one of the largest domiciliary care and support providers in Essex and Suffolk, is currently seeking a Domiciliary Care Coordinator to join their team based in Essex.

The role of the Domiciliary Care Coordinator is to oversee the care team, ensure the day-to-day service delivery is of the highest standard.

You will ensure all visits are covered and no visits are cancelled or missed. You will ensure service users are notified of any operational issues that may affect their service delivery such as delays / lateness.

Main responsibilities of the Domiciliary Care Coordinator:

Manage the day-to-day coordination and preparation of rotas, care staff and care packages.
Manage the day-to-day visit changes.
Ensure all care staff are up to date with their mandatory training (Moving & Handling, Medication and Safeguarding).
Provide support to new care staff during their probation periods, ensuring all documentation and observations are properly completed.
Provide support to the Senior Care Assistants.
Ensure service users are being provided with the highest quality of domiciliary care services.
Build and develop strong working relationships with health care professionals.
Deal with all staff sickness and absences, ensuring they are recorded on the Roster.

 

The successful Domiciliary Care Coordinator will have proven experience working in a care coordination or a similar role where you have been managing a team, preferably within the domiciliary care sector.

Experience required for the role:

Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing the provision of domiciliary care services.
Proficiency in using care management software and computer applications.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
