Our client, an International removals company, are looking to recruit an experienced operations candidate who has already dealt with European scheduling.

Working as part of the Operations department, this role reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing European costing/scheduling and assisting the Transport Manager and European Scheduler with UK and European scheduling.
This is a busy role and key to the smooth running of our Operations team. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with proven European scheduling, Customs and costing experience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a positive can do attitude and be happy to get involved in the day to day running of the Operations department.
Main Duties for the European Removals Operations Controller:
Scheduling European moves
Assisting the Operations and Assistant Operations Manager in the smooth running of the operations department
Planning day to day diary and booking in jobs
Maintaining daily attendance records
Ensuring that all invoices are completed accurately and on time
Assisting in closing removal files and passing those to the relevant departments
Working with department heads in the generation of job sheets and relevant paperwork for road crews
Experience Required for the European Removals Operations:
Previous removals operations experience would be desirable but not essential
European scheduling experience – this is essential
Solid knowledge of drivers hours and tachograph rules and regulations
Excellent man management skills and experience of planning work schedules
