Our client, a luxury bespoke furniture company, are currently looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive team and make a difference.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be dealing with logistical inquiries including shipping quotes, supplier collections and client deliveries. You will also be issuing instructions for local transportation, packing and shipping and ensure outbound shipments are in accordance with regulations.
The ideal Logistics Coordinator will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a logistical role and being able to assist the Production and Sales teams in overseeing shipping operations, samples, quotes, purchase orders, invoices, quality control and all day-to-day administration.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
Deal with shipping documentation and insurance
Update daily the sales team on client’s orders
Complete occasional hands-on tasks, such as packing, unpacking and delivery.
Supporting the Sales Team with quotation and invoicing
Monitor and track stock of samples and consignment pieces
Working with the Production Manager in planning work schedules: checking and coordinating fabrication timescales, resources, and production information ensuring delivery dates are met
General admin tasks
The Logistics Coordinator will have:
Educated to degree level, preferably in Logistics with a 2:1
Strongly process driven with a good understanding of supply chain procedures, especially the Procurement and Inbound Logistics processes
Experience working in internationally and in working with 3rd Party Logistics Service Providers – sea and air freight
Fluency in English is a must; a knowledge of other languages would be beneficial

In return, you will receive 25 days holiday per annum including the 3 days between Christmas and New Year when the business is closed, plus bank holidays.
